Stephanie Tran's entry into the LJ Hooker Property Partners team as a Sales Agent comes after a noteworthy stint as a Business Development Manager, as well as many years in other roles within reputable real estate agencies, bringing a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to her role.

What made you originally choose to work at LJ Hooker Property Partners?
Apart from the convenience it offered me, as the office is right next to my house, I also saw that it was a large, highly respected business, which offered me a great opportunity to advance my career.
What do you enjoy most about working at LJ Hooker Property Partners?
The best thing about it would have to be the friendly and supportive environment – as well as the big coffee station!
What do you feel is the difference you offer to clients?
I pride myself in treating my clients with honesty and respect. They can trust that I will do whatever it takes to never let them down.
What are your favourite things about the areas you service?
It is a vibrant and growing area with a large Vietnamese population, and as I am Vietnamese myself, I feel right at home within the local community.
What are some major things you have learnt since starting work here?
The biggest thing I’ve learnt is how to connect with people, build rapport and create long-lasting relationships. Afterall, real estate is all about people.
How has your previous career experience aided you in your role as Sales Agent? Has having a background in Property Management helped you in your current role?
I’ve been working in real estate for quite some time but previously I worked in fashion retail where I lead my team in hitting sales targets. This career experience has really helped me to know how to provide people with the best service and to work tirelessly to meet goals. Having worked in Property Management has also definitely helped as it’s provided me with a good background and framework to become a successful Sales Agent.
What have been your main achievements since working here?
My greatest achievement was probably when I got my first listing in just the first month after I transitioned from Business Development Manager to Sales Agent. I worked tirelessly to achieve it, so it felt good to hit that initial milestone so quickly.
What advice do you have for others wanting to pursue a career in real estate/sales?
Never give up – this job is all about consistency. You should also believe in yourself and not forget to be nice to everyone as you never know when you may need their help.
