What made you originally choose to work at LJ Hooker Property Partners?

I initially wanted to work in the real estate industry because it's one of those industries where you get what you put in. LJ Hooker Property Partners caught my attention as they have established a great presence all across Brisbane and have been successful doing so for years.

What do you enjoy most about working at LJ Hooker Property Partners?

What I enjoy most is the team environment. Everyone has such a great mindset and work ethic and it's inspiring for me to strive to be better every day. I have been soaking up endless amounts of knowledge and information as there are so many great staff members and mentors here who are more than happy to offer guidance and support.

What’s it like working with Karl Gillespie?

Karl Gillespie truly is a unique individual whose work ethic is unmatched. I’ve enjoyed working every minute with Karl and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow.

What do you feel is the difference you offer to clients?

I think being genuine and authentic is very important to succeed, not only in your professional career, but also in your personal life. Being honest and upfront is something I strive for.

What are some major things you have learnt since starting work here?

The most important thing I have learnt whilst working at LJ Hooker Property Partners is being honest and just having a can-do, positive attitude. Having those two traits is super important.

How has your previous career experience aided you in your role as Sales Associate?

Having a construction background has been a huge benefit starting off in the real estate industry. It has helped me better connect with clients and assist with any issues or potential hiccups whilst selling properties.

What are your goals for the future?

My current goals are to broaden my current network and meet as many people as possible to assist with selling real estate in the Mansfield area. Also, I want to invest in myself to improve my mindset, health and personal development.

What advice do you have for others wanting to pursue a career in real estate/sales?

Real estate is an extremely challenging and rewarding career. You don’t know if you are going to enjoy something unless you try it out. So, if you are looking for a fast paced and exciting work environment, I would say take the jump and start your career in real estate.
